Myra Watters TCRG ADCRG BG
Myra is from Dublin, Ireland and studied Irish dance for many years with Terry Gillan, Philip Owens, Elaine Kavanagh and Ann Murphy.

She competed internationally and became a World champion team dancer and a World medalist solo dancer.

Myra toured the world with Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance and Feet of flames, among many other professional shows. She rose to the position of Dance Captain in both shows. 

Myra starred in the 1999 presentation of Lord of the Dance in Epcot, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

She is an accredited Irish dance teacher, adjudicator and grade examiner, registered with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, and judges regularly on the International Irish dance competitive circuit, as well as examining grade exam candidates.

J.R. Walker TCRG ADCRG

J.R. started dancing at the late age of 13 with the An Cor Rud School of Irish Dance in Virginia Beach, VA and quickly moved through the ranks in competition to achieve open championship level.

 After moving to college, J.R. danced for the Broesler School of Irish Dance under Kevin Broesler, ADCRG and Eileen Paulson, TCRG where he was successful in team and solo competitions, qualifying to compete at the World Irish Dancing Championships.

In 2016, J.R. passed the rigorous TCRG exam to become a certified Irish dance teacher with the world's most distinguished Irish dance organization, An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha (CLRG). 

Before transitioning to the Orlando area, J.R. owned and operated the Walker Academy of Irish Dance in Virginia Beach, VA where he taught and choreographed for students who competed and placed at the regional, national, and international levels.

In addition to his TCRG certification, J.R. holds a bachelor's degree in History and a master's degree in Social Studies Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. 

He is also certified through the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

Megan Novak TCRG

Megan began her dancing career at the age of five at the Erickson Academy of Irish Dance in Ohio. In 2007, she moved to Florida and began dancing at the Watters School of Irish Dancing. During her time at Watters, Megan attained the level of open champion in solo dancing. She danced on dance drama teams that placed first at world, national and regional competitions. She also competed both solo and on teams at national and regional competitions.

Megan obtained her TCRG certification in 2022 and is a fully vetted and accredited dance instructor with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG). Megan taught with Legacy Irish Dance Academy in Savannah, GA before moving back to Florida and joining the teaching team at Watters School of Irish Dancing.

In addition to her dance teaching activities, Megan is also a Certified Flight Instructor and holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
